In Taunton, October 6, 2016 Margaret “Peg” O’Donnell, Age 79, passed away suddenly in Morton Hospital with her husband loving by her side. Peg is survived by her husband Richard “Dick” O’Donnell of Taunton. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late James & Margaret (Roberts) Morrisey. Peg was educated in Taunton schools and a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and loved spending nights out with her husband and friends. Above all Peg cherished her time with family and was so proud to be called: Ma, Nana, Wife, Sister, Auntie and friend. Her beautiful life will be forever honored and cherished in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Peggy also had an unwavering faith in God and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Taunton. In addition to her husband, Peg leaves her devoted children Debra Meunier and her husband Steven of Taunton, John Wilbur of San Diego and David Wilbur and his wife Bonnie of Norwich, CT. Her two stepsons Craig O’Donnell of Plymouth, Ma and Richard O’Donnell of Naples, FL. Her three grand daughters to whom she was “Nana” Lauren and Lindsey Meunier of Taunton and Rhiannon Wilbur of CT. Peg also leaves her four step grandchildren Patrick, Jonathan, Christopher and Nicole O’Donnell and Brother John "Jack Morrisey of Taunton and his late wife Patricia her half sister Sandy (Morrissey) and her husband Edward Nadeau. Peggy also leaves several nieces and nephews and many close friends. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Tuesday, October 11th at 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church in Taunton at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday from 5-7 pm. Burial will be private at the request of the family. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Margaret’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
