Obituary

Paul S. Ramos, of Nashua, NH formerly of Woburn passed away sudden and unexpectedly, October 6, 2016, St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH. He was 75 years of age. Paul was the beloved husband of the late Irene P. (Flynn). Born in Somerville, MA he was one of two sons of the late Sebastian and Elizabeth (Medeiros) Ramos.

Paul was raised and educated in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. Following high school he continued his education attending Northeastern University where he received his degree in Mechanical Design & Engineering. Paul worked for many years in the computer field. He designed and engineered systems, some of which were used for the lunar landing during the Apollo Mission. He was also instrumental in designing some of the earliest portable personal computers. He was a very gifted and talented mechanical design engineer. Paul was totally devoted to his family. They were his main focus in life always making sure he could provide them with all their needs. He was always there to support them in all their school and sporting activities. He took great joy in being their number one fan.

In his younger years and during his leisure time, Paul enjoyed working on cars as a self-taught mechanic. He enjoyed drag racing in his youth and was a music aficionado of 1950's doo wop music. He was an avid Boston sports fan and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is lovingly survived by his six children, Paul Ramos of Raymond, NH, Craig Ramos and his wife Michelle of Nashua, NH, Glen Ramos of Nashua, NH, Kimberly Ramos of Thornton, NH, Caroline Ramos of Nashua, NH and Joseph Ramos of Burlington, VT. He was the loving grandfather of Annmarie, Sebastian, Paul, Olivia, Maximus, Ella, Nevaeh and Rylee. Cherished brother of Richard Ramos and his wife Kathy of San Jose, CA.

Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON, Tuesday, October 11th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Paul's memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central New England Chapter, P.O. Box 845945, Boston, MA 02284-5945.
