Obituary

Ena Despinos, age 86, of Stoughton, died peacefully October 4, 2016 at Bridgewater Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Jacques Lubin. Born, raised and educated in Haiti, she immigrated to the United States in 1970. Ena was the daughter of the late Spencer and Virginia (Geslin) Despinos. She was hard working and compassionate and for over 20 years was employed at Somerville Hospital and retired from the Brockton Visiting Nurses Association. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Ena is survived by 3 children Pierre J. Lubin and his wife Gilberte of Brockton, Gerald Lubin and his former wife Carol Lubin-Pady of Medford, and Chantal Dragon and her husband Chrispin of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Pierre Jr., Dimitri, and Aisha Lubin; Stephanie and Jeffrey Lubin and Patrick, Christelle and Fabrice Dragon. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved cousin Erick David.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday 2-5pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Tuesday at 8 am for a funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
