PLYMOUTH – Priscilla Ambers, wife of the late Maxwell Ferrara, died peacefully at her home on Oct. 5, 2016. She was 77.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony T. and Catherine (Lima) Ambers.
Priscilla was employed as an administrative assistant with Blue Cross/Blue Shield for many years. She was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Maryann Ambers and Mechael “Mikki” Ambers, both of Plymouth; two brothers, Raymond Ambers of Fall River and William Ambers of GA; six sisters; Doreen Ambers of Worcester, Jacqueline Dias and Marie Smith, both of Boston, Catherine Fisher of Taunton, Helen Ambers of Providence and Jean Robinson of Fall River; seven grandchildren, Jasmyn, Alyssa, Glenn, Christian, Ardriella, Amari and Zakiah; one godchild, Tasha; and many nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Paul Ambers and Carolyn Pina, Geraldine Ambers, Sharon Ambers and Shirley Ambers.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Sunday, Oct. 9th at 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m., prior to her funeral service.
