Beloved husband of Jessa Piaia of Somerville, MA passed too soon from this life on October 2, 2016. He touched the lives of many people, and he will be dearly missed.
Lee is survived by his brother Lynn (Joyce) Riethmiller, his aunt and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents William and Grace Riethmiller, and his nephew Jonathan Riethmiller, all in Ohio.
Founder and director of The Intercontinental Foreign Language in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts, since 1976, Lee daily taught multiple foreign languages. His copyrighted method, QuintaLingualâ„¢, which allowed the interactive teaching of multiple languages in a single language course, was featured prominently in the national media. He was fluent in 46 languages.
Visiting hours in the Brown-Flaherty Funeral Home, 261 Washington St., Union Sq., Somerville, on Tuesday, October 11th, at 4:00-8:00pm.
A Mass will be held in the Harvard Epworth Church, Thursday, October 13th at 11:00am, at 1555 Mass. Ave., Harvard Sq, Cambridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations for a memorial bench in Lee's honor will be accepted.
