Peter R. Duarte, 36, of New Bedford died unexpectedly September 20, 2016.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Brenda M. (Duarte) Fortes and Joaquim Lobo of New Bedford, he lived in New Bedford most of his life.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, wrestling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his parents; 3 brothers, Michael Duarte, Joaquim Lobo, Jr. and Jeffrey Lobo, all of New Bedford; a sister, Jackie Duarte of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Karen Duarte and grandson of the late Beatrice Duarte.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 10th at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial in St. John's Cemetery will be private. Visiting hours are omitted.
