Joann Marie Hatchell
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, October 04, 2016, Mrs. Joann Marie Hatchell, 85, wife of the late Mr. Frank R. Hatchell.
Mrs. Hatchell was a native of Columbus but lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a gracious host to family, friends and neighbors. Mrs. Hatchell shared her wisdom and possessed a special touch that made everyone feel welcome.
Family members include daughters: Joy Fredericks of Augusta, Gail Silva (Adrian) of Tyrone, GA, Sharon Hundley of Irmo, SC, Kim McCaughin (Bob) of Pearcy, AR; sister: Linda Gregory (Everett); grandchildren: Steve Fredericks, Daniel Fredericks, Gina Silva, Jonathan Silva and Heather Smith, Cindy Graves, Caitlin McCaughin and Corey Hundley; great grandchildren: Rayne Hall, Olivia Graves, Harper Fredericks, Eliot Fredericks and Sawyer Lyn Fredericks.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11:00 A.M in the chapel of Thomas Poteet with Rev. Howard E. Bess officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, GA 30909.
