Bronislaw “Ben” Baranowski passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on October 3rd. Born in Boston 93 years ago, Ben was educated in the Boston schools. He was a resident of So. Boston and Hyde Park before moving to Milton over 50 years ago. Ben was a Retired Metropolitan District Commission, MDC, Police Officer, Old Colony Division. A former member of the Amvets, McKeon Post, Dorchester, member of “RAMP” and State Police Retired Employees Assn. He was a WWII Army veteran. Devoted husband of the late Stella J. (Olesniewicz). Cherished father of Steve Baranowski and his wife Jean of Norwell, Linda Baranowski of Milton, Bill Baranowski of Milton and Susan Genduso and her husband Joe of Milton. Brother of the late Jean Femia and Dr. Walter Baronowski. Also survived by 3 loving grandchildren: Zach, Kim and Cara. Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton Saturday morning at 10. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Friday 4 to 8 pm. Burial Milton Cemetery.
