Obituary

Paul P. Scola of Gloucester and Lynnfield died on Monday, October 3, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers. Raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Peter and Beatrice (Busalacchia) Scola. Paul worked for many years as a sea food broker, and was owner of Boston Sword and Tuna.

Paul was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Camuso) Scola, and the devoted father of Paul Scola and his wife Cindy, Michael Scola and his wife Christine, all of Burlington, Stephen Scola and his wife Barbara of Billerica, and Maria Castinetti of Lynnfield. He was the loving grandfather of Paul, Jenna, Chelsea, Michael, Cassandra, James, Nicole, Jacquelyn, Charlotte, Stephen, Adina, Nicholas, Hailey, Cory, and the loving great grandfather of Dominic. Paul was the brother of Cathy Rochon of Salem, NH, Loretta Johnston of Pelham, NH, and the late Ann Appiani and Peter Scola.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, October 8 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Margaret Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, October 7, from 3 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
