GROVELAND: Richard K. Jewell, Jr., 23, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Born in Winchester, MA on May 30, 1993, he was the beloved son of Richard K. Sr. and Janice C. (Byrne) Jewell of Groveland, MA. Ricky attended Pentucket Regional High School in West Newbury, MA.
Ricky enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and especially his dog, Kilo. He was fascinated with astronomy and history and had a passion to learn as much as he could about these subjects. He also enjoyed driving his truck with his dog by his side and listening to music. Ricky loved installing challenging audio equipment and was sought after for his skills.
In his downtime, he enjoyed walking his dog at Winnekenni Castle in Haverhill. Ricky was recently employed at Haffner's Car Wash in Plaistow, NH. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his sister, Ashley C. Jewell of Groveland; paternal grandparents, Richard C. and Mary S. Jewell of Tewksbury and maternal grandmother, Margaret P. Byrne of Groveland. Ricky is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends. Ricky's legacy will live on as he was proud to be an organ donor.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 52 Salem St., Bradford from 4 – 6 p.m. with a service to be held at 6 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
