Worcester- John A. Andruski, 86, of 8 South Ward St., died Saturday, August 6, in his home.
His wife, Ruth F. (Santimaw) Andruski, died in 1994. He leaves a son, John F. Andruski of Charlton; three daughters, Ruth E. Santimore of Holden, Patricia Martin of Uxbridge, and Jean M. Castle of Worcester; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter. He was born in Worcester, son of Matthew and Elizabeth (Nowelas) Andruski and lived here all his life. He graduated from Classical High School and attended St. Bonaventure College.
Mr. Andruski was a clerk at Harrahy’s Package Store for many years. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Vilna Parish and was a former member of the Knights of Lithuania.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 8, in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour is from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 8, in the funeral home.
