Marion A. (Lesko) Larney, 73, of Medway, Mass., passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2016 after a long illness.
Born on February 18, 1943 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Luba) Lesko. Marion was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Kenosha and was a Medway resident since 1977.
Marion spent many years as a stay-at-home mother before re-entering the workforce at Middlesex Savings Bank in Natick. She was also a Girl Scout leader for her daughter’s troop for many years. Each summer she looked forward a week-long family beach vacation in Galilee, Rhode Island.
She is survived by her three children, John Larney, III of Allston, Erin Themig and her husband Ryan of Milford, and Thomas Larney of Milford and her beloved grandchildren, Alexandra and Tyler Themig. In addition, she is survived by her former husband of 38 years, father of her children, and friend John.
She is also survived by her siblings, Richard Lesko of Wisconsin, James Lesko of California, and Kathryn Ladewig and her husband Darwin of Missouri. She was the sister of the late Thomas Lesko.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Friday, October 7 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St., Medway. Burial will be private at the request of the family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00-7:00pm in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St., Medway.
