Obituary

Worcester - Leo U. Angers, 75, of Worcester died Saturday May 25 in St. Vincent Hospital - Worcester Medical Center.

He leaves his wife Phyllis M. (Boucher) Angers of Auburn; two sons Kenneth L. Angers of Worcester and Keith B. Angers of Lakeworth, FL; two daughters Virginia E. Marra of Shrewsbury and Sarah Diane Aubuchon of Ashburnham; one brother Donald C. Angers of Worcester; two sisters Doris E. Zuidema of Oxford and Elaine M. Auger of Nortbridge; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Angers was born in Worcester son of Romeo and Beatrice (Lusignan) Angers.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Angers worked for Local #170 as a tractor trailer driver for many years retiring in 1992. He previously owned and operated the former Office Lounge in Worcester.

He was a member of Teamsters Local #170 and a former member of St. Joseph's Church.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday June 1 at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church 35 Hamilton Street. Burial will be at a later date in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Society.
