Obituary

Olga Velasquez, age 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 30, 2016. Olga was born in Manabi, Ecuador. She married her husband Julio Reinoso and was predeceased by him. She came to the United States with her second husband Antonio Rivero when she was 50. They lived together in the Bronx, NY for 25 years then moved to Randolph for another 20 years. Most recently Olga lived with her daughter at her home in South Weymouth. Olga was an amazing cook, a very talented seamstress, and a devoted mother. She loved being able to do everything herself to support her family.
Olga was predeceased by her husband Antonio Rivero. She is survived by her loving daughters Edith Icaza and her husband Luis of Whitman and Jenny Farrell of Weymouth, her cherished grandchildren Leo Farrell Jr., Jorge Moscoso, Michelle Farrell-Ehrhardt, Angelica Moscoso, William Farrell, Roberto Moscoso, Edward Farrell, and Julio Moscoso. Olga is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Olga on Monday October 3, 2016 from 4-8PM in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather at the funeral home Tuesday morning at 10AM for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass which will take place at St. Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth at 11AM. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth. If you would like to leave a message for the family please click on the candle.
