Gallahue, Jeffrey Francis “Jeff” Passed away peacefully at his home on September 30, 2016. Survived by his loving wife Patricia Rooney Gallahue, son Thomas and Daughter in law Kathryn Gallahue, adoring daughter Joanne Gallahue, son Patrick Gallahue and cherished grandchildren Andrew and Brynn Gallahue all of Canton, Ma. Brother of Elaine Schembari of Scituate, Joan Pavidis of Holbrook, Jack Gallahue of Milton, Mary and Frank Fasoli of Braintree, and Helen Irvin of Squantum. Brother in law of Jim and Lori Rooney of Stoughton, Steve and Laura Rooney of Canton, Dave and Dawn Rooney of Canton, Bob and Linda Rooney of Taunton, and Kathy Rooney of Canton. Also survived by countless nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Member of Ballybunion, Milton Hoosic, and Wampatuck Golf Courses…President and Founder of We Beat Cancer, Former President of St. John’s School Association….Former President of Canton Youth Hockey….Served on the Executive Board of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham and Handi Kids of Bridgewater, Served on the Advisory Board of NASRA,Proud Alumni of Northeastern University where he played Basketball, Coach of several Canton Youth Sports. Jeff was known to his family as the “Big Guy,” who constantly and endlessly touched so many of those that walked into his life. He approached life selflessly and inspired others to do the same. Jeff was a true family man that always put everyone first. He will be sorely missed. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 3-8 pm. Funeral mass at The Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Mission Church, 1545 Tremont St. Boston Wednesday morning at 10. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton.
