Margaret Lecourt, 78, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH. She was born in Lowell, MA on April 15, 1938, a daughter of the late Jeremiah Sullivan and Olive (Miller) Bernier. She was a resident of Londonderry for 22 years, formerly living for many years in Lowell, MA, as well as her beach house in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Margaret enjoyed sewing, knitting, boating in Beverly and traveling in their camper. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially loved the time spent at the beach and vacationing at Lake Winnipesaukee.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Maine of Hudson, NH, and Susan Cote and husband Roland of Londonderry; two granddaughters, Sherry-Anne Ducharme and husband Michael of Pelham, NH, and Danielle Mague and husband Jeremy of Londonderry; four great grandchildren, Brittaney & Paige Ducharme and Ryan & Kaylee Mague, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Roger W. Lecourt in June 2016, her brother Thomas Sullivan, sister, Alice Crapser and two granddaughters Renee and Nicole Cote.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes of Londonderry, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. Funeral services was held on Thursday at 10:30 am in St. Mark's Church, One South Road, Londonderry. The burial followed in Gibson Cemetery, Marsh Road, Pelham, NH.
