ZISCH, Dr. Anna W. 94, of Acton Ma., formerly of Worcester died on August 3 at Emerson Hospital, Concord, MA. Dr. Zisch was born in Kolomyja, Poland. She was the daughter of Kazimierz and Stanislawa (Urbanska) Wysocki. Dr. Zisch lived in Poland and Germany for several years before moving to the United States. She was the wife of the late Dr. Karl W. Zisch, devoted mother of W. Charles Zisch of Chelmsford, MA, Dr. Ann I. Binkiewicz of Tucson, AZ and Christine “Royce” Rojcewicz of Acton, MA. She is survived by 5 grandchildren Heidi Zisch, Joanna Royce-Davis, Veronica Schreiver, Jonathan Royce, Nicholas Royce, 6 great-grandchildren Brian Davis Jr., Krysia Davis, Mikaila Davis, Drew Schreiver, Ethan Schreiver, and Nathan Royce. She was predeceased by two brothers, Adam and Thaddeus, and a sister Jadwiga. She was a pediatrician practicing at Fairlawn Hospital and Worcester City Hospital and the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology. She then attended Yale and Syracuse University receiving a doctorate of Psychiatry. Dr. Zisch retired from practice at Utica State Hospital in 1989. The funeral will be held on Monday August 8 with a Mass at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (St. Mary’s Church), 34 Ward St., Worcester. Interment to follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
