Catherine F. Berlo (Canavan), age 94, passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family on Monday, September 26, 2016. Born and raised in Quincy, and a graduate of Quincy High School, she had lived in Hyde Park for the past 70 years. A loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond H. Berlo and was the devoted mother of Catherine Crowley and her husband, Robert of Franklin, Diane Pires and her husband, John of FL, Christine Horigan and her husband Steve of Quincy and the late Raymond F. Berlo and his late wife Wendy. She was the cherished grandmother of several loving grandchildren and great grandchildren and sister of the late Frank Canavan and Margaret Gibbons. Mrs. Berlo was buried with her husband at MA National Cemetery – Bourne after a Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Church, Milton on September 29th.
