Obituary

James A. Nash, age 51, a lifelong resident of Weymouth has passed away suddenly on September 27, 2016. Jimmy met his wife Cathy when they worked together in Braintree and then settled in Weymouth after getting married to continue raising their family. He lived for his family and although he was always lucky when it came to playing cards, he considered the luckiest day of his life the day he became a grandfather. Jimmy loved dealing cards at the Venus in Marshfield, fishing, and loved his trip to Vegas with his wife for their honeymoon. He will be missed deeply by all his friends and family.

Jimmy is the beloved husband of Catherine Nash (Mayhew) of Weymouth, loving father to Irene Duffy of Braintree, Cynthia Campbell and her husband Scott of Gorham, ME, George Pendleton Jr. and his wife Carrie of Rockland, cherished grandfather to Matthew, Addison, Eva, and Shayla, devoted brother to Joyce Nash, Robert Nash and his wife Christine, Lori Heinstrom and her husband Galen, and Robin Nash. Jimmy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Jimmy on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2-6 PM in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather for a Funeral Mass in honor of Jimmy on Monday at 9:30AM in St. Albert the Great Church located at 1130 Washington St, East Weymouth, MA 02189. Interment will immediately follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9168.
