Jeannette L. (Casey) Girouard, age 83, of Brockton, died peacefully September 26, 2016, at her home. Jeanette was the wife for 56 years of the late Norman J. Girouard. Born and raised in Gardner, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Leo and Mary E. (LeBlanc) Casey. She was a 1951 graduate of Gardner High School and was married in 1954. Jeannette had been employed as a Quality Assurance Inspector at Codman & Shurtleff in Randolph and Norton for many years. Devoted to her Catholic faith, Jeannette was a longtime daily communicant of Christ the King Parish and had been a Eucharistic Minister and an associate of the Holy Union Sisters. She also enjoyed family functions and travel with her husband and children.
Jeannette is survived by four sons, James of Quincy, John and his wife June of Brockton, Joseph of Gaithersburg, MD, and Jack of Brockton. She was the grandmother of Edward Girouard and sister of M. Rita Daigle of Worcester.
Visitation will be held in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman Street, Brockton, Monday beginning at 10 am followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
