Obituary

Worcester- Bienvenido Mangual, Jr., 51, of 16 Tracy Place, died Wednesday, August 3, in Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill.
He leaves three brothers, Angel M. Mangual of Oak Ridge, TN, Juan B. Mangual and his wife Lorraine of Hudson, and Jose L. Mangual of Worcester; six sisters, Lydia Santiago of Hamden, CT, Ida Mangual of Puerto Rico, Sonia Mangual-Corazzini and her husband Henry of Worcester, Maria Mangual of North Carolina, Josephine Mangual of Worcester, and Madeline Mangual of Boston; nephews and nieces. He was born in Canovas, Puerto Rico, son of Bienvenido Mangual, Sr. and Rafaela (Andino) Mangual and lived here many years.
Mr. Mangual worked in the building services department at Astra-Zeneca Pharmaceutical Company in Westboro, before retiring due to illness.
He enjoyed playing the guitar and the bongo’s. He loved the Beatle’s and the blues.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, August 6, in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Calling hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, August 6, in the funeral home.
