Janice D. Rhymer
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, September 27, 2016, Mrs. Janice D. Rhymer, 65, wife of Mr. Earl A. Rhymer.
Mrs. Rhymer was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She retired as a furniture buyer from MCG and Augusta Business Interiors. Mrs. Rhymer dearly loved the many years she spent serving as a foster home for rescue dogs. She loved watching hummingbirds and dragonflies on her porch. Mrs. Rhymer was an avid reader of Western Romance Novels. She enjoyed traveling to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Family members in addition to her husband include mother: Alice Mosley; children: Amy McClure (Derek) and Roy Rhymer (Ashley); grandchildren: Heather Wilson, Bradley Wilson, Stella Rhymer and Isabella Rhymer; and siblings: Joe H. Mosley, Jr., Judy Jones and Nancy Taylor.
A memorial service will be Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Aaron Cohrs officiating.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and entire staff at Gentiva Hospice, Dr. Jill Buchanan, Aaron and Melissa Cohrs and close friend and neighbor Sheri Morris for their care and compassion.
