Mrs. Sheila M. (Martin) Jones, of Taunton, died Saturday, September 24 in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Clifford R. Jones. She was born 50 years ago in Boston, the daughter of Evelyn (Eden) Meunier and the late Edward Martin. She was educated in Rockland and had been a Taunton resident for many years. Sheila was previously employed as a Home Health Aide for A.H.S. in Taunton for 2 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She attended Liberty Christian Center in Taunton.
In addition to her husband and her mother, both of Taunton, she leaves: 2 sons: Clifford R. Jones, Jr. and his wife, Angela of Taunton, and Samual R. Jones of Taunton; 4 brothers: Edward Martin and his wife, Robin of Taunton, Eric Martin and his wife, Shannon of Taunton, Sean Martin of Taunton, and Scott Martin and his wife, Robin of Virginia; 1 sister: Sandra Rogers of Maine; 8 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Sheila was also the sister of the late Cheryl White.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at the Liberty Christian Center, 159 Winthrop St., Taunton, on Saturday, October 22 at 4:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
