FALL RIVER - Albertina “Tina” (Moniz) Pavao, 87, of 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA, formerly of Somerset, died Thursday at the Catholic Memorial Home. Wife of the late Gilbert V. Pavao. She is survived by:One Son: Rodney Pavao of Somerset, MA, One Step-Son: Gilbert Pavao, Jr. of Tiverton, RI, One Daughter: Margaret Botelho of Somerset, MA, Eight Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Margaret Moniz, who died at Age 5
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Joseph Moniz and the late Virginia Moniz De Faria, Step-Daughter of the late Joseph De Faria. She was a Somerset resident for 39 yrs., now residing in Fall River for the past year. Before retiring in 1980, she was a Dietary Food Server at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Previously, she was a Sewing Machine Operator for the local Garment Mfg. industry, and she previously, worked at Lincoln Park in Dartmouth, where she operated the “Fascination Game”. She enjoyed Bingo and Knitting. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Somerset.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA on Monday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church, South St., Somerset, MA. at 10:00 A.M. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River, MA. Calling Hours Sunday 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
