Malvina R. (Couito) Gabriel, 93, of N. Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Southpointe Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Jose Gabriel.
Mrs. Gabriel was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Mario and Purificasao (DeJesus Cabral) Couito and had been a longtime resident of Dartmouth. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son: Jorge R. Gabriel and his wife Susan of Westport; 2 grandchildren: Jonathan Gabriel and Lea Gilchrist; 2 great grandchildren: James and Savanaha; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
