Dorothy E. (Filchuck) Brown, 74, of Wrentham formerly of Franklin died September 24 in the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Wrentham.
Born in East Boston, May 21, 1942, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Laura (Port) Filchuck, Mrs. Brown was raised in Boston and had lived in Franklin for many years before moving to Wrentham in 2005.
A homemaker, Mrs. Brown enjoyed traveling and spending time in New Hampshire.
She is survived by her children, William Cheney of Wrentham, Debbie Cheney of Uxbridge and Annmarie Chaffey of Wrentham. She was the mother of the late Mark Cheney.
She is also survived by her brother Robert Filchuck of Lexington, North Carolina and was the sister of the late Kenneth Filchuck and Cynthia Instasi.
Dorothy is also survived by her five grandchildren.
Her services and interment will be private.
Arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin.
