COONEY, Joyce M. (Riley) Age 78, of Fort Myers, FL formerly of West Roxbury and Marshfield, died peacefully on September 24, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Leo P. Cooney Sr. Devoted mother of the late John F. Cooney and his wife Jeanne, Leo P. Cooney Jr. and his wife Mary Jane, Eileen McDonough and her husband Gerard, Tricia Cooney, and Michael Cooney and his wife Kari. Loving Nana to Tommy and his wife Katie, Katie, Michael, Jessica, Austin, Brendan, MaryKate, and Olivia. Proud great-nana to John Connor and James Austin. Devoted sister to the late Helen Donato and the late Patricia Scopa. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as being truly blessed with so many wonderful friends…
Funeral from the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Thursday, Sept. 29 at 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church, West Roxbury at 11:30am.
