Antone Correa, age 99 of Fall River passed away September 23, 2016. He was the husband of the late Antonia (Correia) Correa. Born in Fall River, he was the son on the late Antone and Mary (Mello) Correa. Tony retired as a Head Carpenter at Bridgewater State College and was a WWII US Navy veteran.
He was the father of Steven Correa of Fall River and the late Patricia Morrissey (husband Jack Morrissey). He was the brother of Everett Correa of Henderson, NC and was predeceased by his siblings Herman, Joseph and Mary Correa, Idenna Viveiros, Evelyn Deorphlz and Delores Wycislak. He also leaves 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Tuesday at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael Church at 10 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Calling hours Monday 4-7 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com
