Miss Sarah Anne Cumiskey, of Taunton, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 22 at her residence. She was born 26 years ago in Taunton, the beloved daughter of Thomas P. Cumiskey of Taunton, and Dale A. (Benevides) of Taunton. A lifelong city resident, she was educated in Taunton, and had attended Bristol Community College. Sarah was formerly employed at Land and Air Express in Easton. She enjoyed cooking, animals, watching television, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she leaves: her stepmother, Angela Cumiskey of Taunton; a sister, Caitlin Cumiskey of Taunton; a stepbrother: Drew Edwards of Taunton; her paternal grandfather, Bernard Cumiskey of Taunton; her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Benevides of Taunton; a niece, Ariella Cohenno of Taunton, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, September 28 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
