Doyle “Stanley” Bloodworth, 72, of Omega passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Harvey Morgan and the Rev. John Sewell officiating. Mr. Bloodworth will be laid to rest at Omega Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 25, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Larry McBrayer, Tony McBrayer, Mark Gill, Willie Dillard and Keith Massey will serve as pallbearers.
Born June 5, 1944 in Thomasville, Mr. Bloodworth was the son of the late Clifford Bloodworth and Doris Willene Brinkley Bloodworth. He retired from Tifton Aluminum Company, where he worked in the Shipping and Receiving Departments.
Mr. Bloodworth is survived by one brother, Daniel Bloodworth of Albany; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sharon Bloodworth of Pelham and Carlene and Frank Barbee of Poulan.
