Walter C. Rudokas, age 68, of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Sturdy memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Sheryl A. (Taranto) Rudokas, to whom he was wed on September 28, 1986.

Born in Weymouth, MA on November 25, 1947, he was a loving son of the late Walter G. and Victoria A. (Kalinowski) Rudokas.

Upon returning home from the service, Walter continued his education and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology at Bridgewater State College.

Walter had been employed in the Veterans Administration Regional Office in Boston and retired with the position of an Assistant Adjudications Officer. Following retirement he worked at the Home Depot in Mansfield where he was a familiar face and known for his helpfulness.
