Mr. William R. Weeks, of Taunton, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 22 in Morton Hospital. He was the former husband of Susan Weeks-Carreiro of Taunton. He was born 64 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Robert and Beryl (Grassie) Weeks. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, Bill had been employed as a Shipper for Callico Distributors of Taunton for 8 years. He enjoyed playing golf at the John F. Parker Golf Course in Taunton.
In addition to his former wife, he leaves: 2 stepsons: Jeffrey Mello of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Matthew Mello of Taunton; 1 brother: Robert Weeks of So. Carolina; 2 sisters: Sandra Sprague of Taunton and Susan Weeks of Attleboro, and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at a time and date to be announced later. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
