Amber M. Scanlan, age 26, of Hyannis, sadly passed away from injuries sustained after being hit by a motor vehicle on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She had worked as an assistant manager at Men’s Warehouse at Cape Cod Mall for the past five years, was dedicated to her job, and had aspirations to continue working and move up in the company. Family and friends related that she was smart and talented, a quick learner and a hard worker who possessed an artistic sense, a dazzling smile and a friendly charismatic personality. When not working Amber loved to draw and paint abstract art. The devoted daughter of Eileen A. Scanlan of E. Falmouth, she was the loving granddaughter of the late Harry J. & Laurette K. Scanlan, the beloved girlfriend of James Durso of Hyannis, and dear niece of Harry J. Scanlan of Sandwich, John K. Scanlan of Falmouth and Richard M. Scanlan and his wife Cecilia of Quincy.
