TEWKSBURY - Mrs Ann (Garvey) Sutton, 89, passed away on Tuesday September 20th at the Nashua Crossings in Nashua, New Hampshire where she resided.
Ann was born on June 8, 1927 in Somerville, Massachusetts a daughter of the late John and Helen (O’Neill) Garvey.
At an early age Ann lived in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. On June 4, 1950 she married her husband Laurent “Dick” Sutton whom she celebrated their sixty-sixth wedding anniversary in June. They moved to Tewksbury where they raised there three children.
Ann worked for over twenty five as a key punch operator for the Internal Revenue Service. She loved to sew and garden..
She is survived by her husband Laurent “Dick” Sutton, three sons, Richard Sutton and his wife Donna, Wayne Sutton and his wife Mary, and Brian Sutton; she leaves a brother, Bobby Garvey and a sister, Irene Kocher; also six grandchildren, Mary, Lee, Richard, William, Hope, Evan Sutton, and three great grandchildren, Antonia, Nandalia, and Eloette; also several nieces and nephews.
SUTTON- Visiting hours will be Tuesday, September 27th, from 11:00am until 1:00p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. A prayer service will begin same day at 1:00pm in the Funeral Home. There will be a private burial.
