John J. Keegan of Canton, formerly of Coolock, Dublin died unexpectedly at home Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He was 57 years old. John worked as a civil engineer who enjoyed golf and was an avid soccer fan. Devoted husband of Deborah M. Keegan (Beurman) of Canton. Loving father of Kathleen M. Keegan of Canton. Loving son of Maura Keegan and the late Seamus Keegan. Loving brother of Brendan Keegan and his wife Patricia of Dublin, Thomas Keegan and his former wife Patricia Buckley of Reading, Andrew Keegan and his wife Karen of Dublin, and Dominic Keegan of Dublin. Son-in-law of Donald Beurman Sr. and his partner Maria Cutignola of Long Island, N.Y. and the late Ethel Beurman. Brother-in-law of Laura Beurman-Ellison MSP Ret. and her husband Evert, Donald Beurman Jr. and his wife Cindy of Weymouth, Christopher Beurman and his partner Cheri of North Oxford. John is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St., Canton on Sunday from 2-6 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday in St. Gerard Majella Church 1860Washington St., Canton. Interment will be private.
