Saunders, Louise (Kapilian), age 92, went home to the Lord Jesus on September 16, 2016, while at Saint Mary Health Care Center in Worcester, MA. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 12 noon at Saint James Armenian Church in Watertown, MA. She was born in Boston, MA to Harry and Ann (Badelian) Kapilian. Her three brothers – Carroll, Albert and Ralph, as well as her former husband, Joseph (Sanigian) Saunders, predeceased her. She also had a sister, Alice, who died in infancy. She is survived by her three children: Alison Saunders of Brighton, MA; Kenneth Saunders of Pawtucket, RI and Neil Saunders and his wife Ann of East Greenwich, RI and three grandchildren: Megan, Harrison and Lauren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Louise graduated from Girls High School in Boston, MA. She worked as an administrative assistant to one of the Vice Presidents for the former Norton Company, now Saint-Gobain, for many years. In addition to her family, one of Louise’s proudest accomplishments was graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Clark University at age 65. Louise loved spending time with family and friends, laughing and she always had a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, a devoted mother, grandmother and friend, always thinking of others first. “To know her was to love her.” She will always be in our hearts and forever loved! In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Saint James Armenian Church in Watertown, MA.
