Beloved husband of Alice (Telian) Najarian. Devoted father of Michael Jr. and his wife Kerry, Gary and his wife Mary Ellen, Stephen, David, Robert and his wife Robin, and Richard and his wife Joanne. Loving grandfather of Alex, Jonathan, Kathryn, Marisa, Matthew, Lauren, Michael III, and Katie. Great grandfather of Elliott Anna. Brother of K. George Najarian and his wife Dr. Carolann, Neshan and his wife Anahid, and the late Anne Merian. Brother-in-law of Harry Telian and his wife Joyce. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and good friends including the caring staff at the Mansion Nursing Home. Michael will truly be missed. Funeral service at Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church, 38 Elton Avenue, Watertown on Wednesday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held at Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church on Tuesday from 4 – 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the above named church. Michael was a graduate of both Tufts and Boston University. Michael was an avid reader and he had a great appreciation of history, music and architecture especially as it related to churches. He was an active member of Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church in Watertown. In 1997 Michael was awarded the Knight of Cilicia medal by His Holiness Catholicos Aram I to honor his years of dedication to the Armenian church. Veteran WW II, U S Army.
