Obituary

ARUNDEL- Rev. Gerald “Jeremiah” Williamson, age 64, went home to be with the Lord, on Sept. 20, 2016.
He was born in Chicago, IL, son of the late George and Nadine (Kledzik) Williamson on June 30, 1952.
After graduating from high school in Chicago in 1969, Jeremiah went on to earn a degree in computer science and business management from Southwest College University. Afterwards he received additional degrees from DePaul University College in computer science and technology. More recently, he graduated from Charis Bible College in Colorado Springs, CO, where he was ordained and licensed as a minister.
Before coming to Maine in 2009, he served as a Associate Pastor at the Grace Fellowship Church in Colorado, was the Senior Chaplain at the Springs Rescue Mission in Colorado, and was a minister, teacher, counselor, preacher and praise & worship leader at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission in CT.
Jeremiah will always be remembered for his love of the Lord and people. His devotion and dedication at front line ministries where he preached, praised and taught will never be forgotten.
In his spare time, he enjoyed being a Ham Radio operator with ARRL and enjoyed speaking to people all around the world.
He is survived by his wife- Rita Williamson; his son- Robert Williamson; step children- Jen Adams and her husband Jon of OR and Jon Brown and his wife Fen-Fen of MD; and three grandchildren- Oliver, Samuel Adams, and Calvin Brown.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 11 AM, at the Seacoast Chapel, 228 Buxton Road, in Saco with a reception to follow.
