Obituary

A kind soul, Joseph “Joe” G. Radosevich, 60, of Prosser, passed away on September 19, 2016 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center due to medical complications following a recent car accident.
He was born in Yakima, Washington on November 24, 1955 to Frank and Wanda (Clemans) Radosevich. He was raised and educated in Tieton and graduated from Highland High School with the class of 1974. Joe married his high school sweetheart, Marion “Mary” Cooper on June 14, 1975 at the Ahtanum Mission in Yakima and the couple raised three children.
Joe graduated from electronics school in Portland, however, a farmer at heart, returned to Tieton and grew cherries with his father until 1981, when he began working for the Washington State Department of Agriculture as a horticultural inspector. The family moved to Prosser in 1982.
Joe was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and devoted member of the Prosser Library. He enjoyed reading, gardening and camping. He loved his family and every personal sacrifice he needed to make was for their benefit. He was a quiet, humble, principled and hardworking man that earned the love and respect of his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his children, Michelle (Ben) Rush of Helena, Montana, Josh Radosevich of Yakima and Ben Radosevich of Prosser; his grandchildren, Bree, Ashley, Matt, Megan and Molly Radosevich and Carly and Cooper Rush; his first great-granddaughter due in December; his mother, Wanda Mitchell of Yakima; brother, Steve Radosevich (Lyn) of Corvallis, Oregon; sisters, Babi (Mike) Herndon of Seaside, Oregon, Carol (Dave) Brucick of Spokane, Polly (Bill) Parsons of Yakima and Annie Radosevich of Ellensburg; mother-in-law, Peggy Cooper of Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Michael Cooper of Missouri; sister-in-law, Jackie Pratt of Benton City; and many nieces and nephews. As Joe entered Heaven, there were many beloved family and friends waiting to greet him, his beloved wife of thirty-eight years, Mary who died on March 7, 2014; his father, Frank Radosevich; best friend, Ben Blachly; great grandson, Owen; father-in-law, Thomas Cooper; brother-in-law, Jim Cooper; and Harry Mitchell.
Recitation of The Rosary will be held at Prosser Funeral Home on Thursday, September 29th at 6:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 30th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Concluding services will follow in the Prosser Cemetery.
