Carol (Wong) Gee died peacefully at home in Medford in the company of her loving family. She was 87. Born and raised in Canton, China she was the daughter of the late Gim Yen and Cheung Heung Wong.
She came to the United States in 1947 and lived in California before coming to Pawtucket, Rhode Island where she lived until settling her family in Boston. In Rhode Island she worked in the family’s laundry business and then once in Boston she worked in the garment industry and the with the dining staff at John Hancock Co. She was a devoted wife and mother who also loved cooking and tending to her garden.
The beloved wife of the late Wah Yick Gee, she was a devoted mother to Jones Gee and Shirley Gee.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday morning, September 26th from 10 to Noon followed by procession to Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
