William W. Whalley, 74, of New Bedford, died peacefully in his sleep on September 17, 2016. Born and raised in New Bedford, he was the son of the late William and Viola (Clark) Whalley.
He loved his family deeply, especially his wife Sharon, to whom he was married for 43 years; his daughter Teri; his sons, Lee and Johnny; his grandchildren, Bo and Teresa; and his great-grandchildren alike.
Whalley loved working for the New Bedford Housing Authority and was deeply saddened with early retirement due to health issues. Both he and his wife enjoyed working at the Flea Market on Brook Street in New Bedford.
