Patricia K. (Colwell) Catania, 64, of Chester, NH, passed away Wednesday September 21, 2016, at her home in Chester following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 15, 1952, a daughter of the late Donald and Patricia (Jones) Colwell. Patricia worked as a Real Estate Appraiser for over 15 years. She and her husband Jim own a home built in 1735. She loved to go antiquing and find perfect pieces to fit the time period of her home. She also loved taking care of things at home and tending her gardens. Patricia was a member of the M’Sters Miata Club in Goffstown and enjoyed attending all their drives and outings. She also rode and showed three gaited American Saddlebred horses. But her passion was rescuing and fostering dogs including her own “failed foster” dogs who became her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, James M. Catania of Chester, three brothers, Donald K. Colwell and Christopher K. Colwell, both of Indianapolis, IN, and Scott K. Colwell of Martinsville, IN; many nieces and nephews, as well as her four legged children, Kieran, Kimber and Woody. She was predeceased by her son, Dennis L. Wright in 2001 as well as her grandmother, Jean Jones and her sister Mary K. Aull.
