Julie A. Smith, 66, of Balcom Road, Foster, died Monday, September 19, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the widow of Norman J. Smith who died on July 11, 2016.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Flore (Dufresne) Duguay of Smithfield and the late Joseph H. Duguay. She had lived in Foster for many years.
She had worked as a connector at AT& T and was also a co-owner, along with her husband, of Universal Electric Co. Inc. Julie loved spending time with her family, friends or in her garden. She was a kind and thoughtful woman that was love by everyone.
She is survived by her daughters: Jennifer Robinson and her husband, Kristopher of Warwick and Christine Lonergan and her husband, Eric of Warwick, her two grandsons: Lucas and Wesley, her sisters: Janet Scorpio of Glocester, Jeannie Vasconcellos of North Smithfield and George Duguay of Providence.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation Saturday morning 9-9:30am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Cardiovascular Research Center, PO Box H, Providence, RI 02901
