Georgia Kozel
Evans, GA – Entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 20, 2016, Mrs. Georgia B. Kozel, 82, loving wife of 62 years to the late Mr. William J. “Bill” Kozel.
Mrs. Kozel was a native of Cleveland, OH; she lived in Flossmoor, IL and moved to Evans 15 years ago. She graduated from Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby, Ohio. Mrs. Kozel was a homemaker and member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. She created many wonderful memories for her children and grandchildren. Her cooking, conversation and concern will be greatly missed.
Family members include daughters: Pamela Barbara and husband Peter of Martinez, Diane Stockman of Gurnee, IL; son: John Kozel of Martinez; sister: Geraldine Stuckert and grandchildren: Kyle, Anna, Clayton, and Christian Stockman, Kathleen Barbara, and Aden Kozel. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her son, Robert David Kozel.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill with Fr. Lou Lindsey celebrant. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
