Maria (Concemi) Bruno, age 67 of Seabrook, NH passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on September 19, 2016. Maria was born in Italy on June 2, 1949 to the late Francesco and Maria (Centamore) Concemi. She was a former member of St. Rita’s Sodality and a former communicant of Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary Parish of Lawrence. Maria was the former owner and operator of Hair Styling by Maria of Lawrence. Her family was the most important part of Maria’s life. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren at the beach. Maria also loved cooking, and playing cards with her sisters.
Maria was the beloved wife of Richard Bruno of Seabrook, NH with whom she shared 47 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Anthony Bruno of Methuen, and Jennifer Bruno Brown and her husband Kevin of Seabrook, NH. Maria was the dear sister of Concettina Castro of Italy, Angelina Borzi and her husband Guiseppe of Italy, Fina Fazio and her husband John of Seabrook, NH, and Bianca Grande and her husband Michael of Seabrook, NH. She was the loving grandmother of Sean Brown, Rachel Brown, Lauren Brown, Lindsey Brown. Anthony Bruno and Taylor Bruno.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi-Holy Rosary Parish of Lawrence.
