Agnes (Rebello) Pires, age 93 of Swansea and formerly Fall River, passed away September. 19, 2016. She was the wife of the late Antonio M. Pires and the daughter of the late Manuel & Mary (Travassos) Rebello.
She is survived by her children: Donald A. Pires (wife Virginia) of Dighton, Lawrence J. Pires (wife Donna) of Jericho, VT and Mary Margaret Nie (husband John) of Mesquite, NV; her sister: Genevieve Greenhalgh of Swansea; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren & several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stephen Rebello.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River Friday at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church, Fall River at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4-8 P.M.
