Jacqueline M. (Muth) Doherty, 67, a longtime resident of Bellingham,died Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Franklin Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of Frederick F. Doherty, Jr. who died in 2001.
Born in Brighton on January 15, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Lucille (Boyd) Muth.
Mrs. Doherty graduated from Our Lady’s High School in Newton and earned her LPN certificate from the Soldier’s Home in Chelsea.
She worked as an LPN at the Medway Country Manor for many years.
Mrs. Doherty loved animals and enjoyed crafting and cooking. She also cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Thibeault and her husband Reggy of Bellingham and their three children, Colin, Audrey and Lorelai.
She is also survived by her aunt Helene Savell, of Naples, FL and her nephew Brad Thibault of Lynn.
She was the sister of the late Carol Holden.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass at St. Brendan’s Church, 382 Hartford Ave. in Bellingham on Friday, September 23 at 10 a.m.
