Faye K. (Cavaca) Costa, 71, of Tiverton, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of James S. Costa.
Mrs. Costa was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Pearce) Cavaca and had been a longtime resident of Tiverton. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a sewing machine operator.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her 3 sons: James J. Costa of New Bedford, Jeffery J. Costa of Tiverton and Jason J. Costa and his wife Kimberly of Somerset; her 2 daughters: Colleen A. Costa of New Bedford and Charlene A. Torchia of Fall River; her brother: James Cavaca of Tiverton; 6 sisters: Joan Almeida of Fairhaven; Pearl Beaulieu, Gwen Cavaca, Donna Smith, Anndale Lachapelle, all of Tiverton and Linda Langlois of Little Compton; 4 grandchildren: Bob, Tyler, Arianna and Chianna; 1 great granddaughter: Eden; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Bruce Cavaca and Jospehine Furtado.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Sunday, from 9:30-11 A.M. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
