Pilat, Elijah N. of Needham and Sudbury formerly of Newton, by accident. September 16, 2016. Age 14. Beloved son of David N. Pilat and his wife Kimberly of Needham, Erica Mattison Andrews and her husband Greig of Sudbury. Brother of Sofia Pilat and Grayson Andrews. Grandson of Edward and Maryann (Grieci) Pilat of Wellesley; Mel Mattison of Sanibel, FL and Patricia (Wozniak) Mattison of Chicago, IL. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial service will be held at Temple Beth Shalom, 670 Highland Ave. Needham, Wed. September 21, at 1pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Eli’s memory to Newton Athletes Unlimited, P.O.Box 66163, Newton MA 02466 in honor of his favorite teacher Andy Garlick.
