Ruth V. Tomolillo passed away at Life Care Center of Stoneham. She was 94. Born and raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Russo) Cervera. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Ruth was a devoted homemaker who loved to spend time with her family and friends.
The beloved wife of the late Capt. Carmine J. Tomolillo, Medford Police Dept., Ruth was a devoted mother to Lynn Barlow and her husband Joseph of Stoneham. She was a loving grandmother to Scott Barlow and his wife Jeanine of Stoneham and Joseph Barlow of Wakefield. She was a loving great-grammy to Paige and Chase. The sister the late Domenic Cervera and Lillian Cannon, she was the best friend of Rita Tomolillo and a special friend of Rose Cerbone. Ruth also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Ruth’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, September 23 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Saint Patrick Church, Stoneham, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home Thursday 4 - 8 PM.
